How to Get the Best Deals

Pricing and Cancellation Policies

My Ferry Link calculates the ferry crossing prices based on the time and date at which it is being booked. If you are booking a vehicle for ferrying across the Channel that is 8.5 metres or more in length, an additional £15 per metre or part thereof will be added to your cost. If the additional metre age is not declared beforehand, it will be charged when you check in. This extra charge, however, is not applicable for vehicles driven for commercial purposes.

My Ferry Link has a detailed policy in place in case you want to make changes or amendments to your booking time and date and vehicle type. If you choose another crossing that costs less than the original fare, you will be credited the balance after excluding the modification fee, if any. If the new crossing costs higher, you will have to pay the difference, plus any modification fee applied.

At My Ferry Link, you can book a MyBasic or MyChoice fare, and the amendment conditions are different for each fare type. For a MyBasic fare, you will be charged a modification fee of £20, or £10 on Day/24 hour fares, whenever you change the time or date of the booking. No refund is available if you cancel the booking. For a MyChoice fare, you may make amendments without any modification fee levied. You will also not be charged cancellation fees if you cancel you’re booking more than 24 hours before the departure time. However, for cancellations made in less than 24 hours, no refunds are applicable.
