      • There is a flap underneath the printer at the front that pulls down. The carriage will then move across to the middle and enable you to change the cartridges.       I am confuse about the ink cartridge that you say is included.
      • This and all brand new printers come with a set of cartridges called set up or start up inks. These are only used to set the printer up for the first time and have a very small amount of ink in. I would always recommend buying a set of cartridges for a printer at the same time in case the ink runs out whilst printing an urgent document etc.

      • The set-up cartridges will only have a ,minimum amount of ink in them and will not last very long—they are purely to printer the prime the print head, although you will get a few prints from them, depending on what you are printing. I would advise buying some new cartridges at the same time as buying the printer.

      • You can just photocopy on this printer however, unless you have a laptop with a disc drive you will need to download the software to your device to be able to print or photocopy. If you are using a mobile phone or tablet then, you will not need to download any software, only an app for the Canon print. Unfortunately, most printers need to have some form of connection to the internet to able to work.

    Good value printer copier

    My old pixma had to be retired as Canon no longer update drivers for it in windows 11. This was a basic copier printer which is all I neded, it plugged in was instantly recognised by the laptop and I was printing within minutes - for the price so far an excellent purchase, topped off by cartridge people's delivery - it arrived in less than 24 hours - don't be silly, of course I will be using them again

    Perfect Replacement

    When my 'old faithfull' Pixma showed signs of reaching it's end, I purchased this replacement, which uses the same ink cartridges. Cheapest I could find anywhere, with free delivery and arrived the next day! Perfect.
